Kilwell Sports is a privately owned company established in 1933. The company is a manufacturer and distributor of fishing tackle, firearms and outdoor related products. Our Fibretube division manufactures an extensive range of tubular fibreglass, graphite and composite products used in a multitude of applications from recreational products through to industrial use.
The Rod Craft division manufactures a complete range of sport fishing rods of world class standard catering for every type of fishing style conceivable from delicate fly fishing rods to powerful saltwater game-fishing rods. The reputation of the products manufactured in both divisions is highly regarded and many products are exported around the world.
Our wholesale division distributes a huge range of product for resale in retail outlets throughout the country. In addition to marketing and distribution of its own product brands, KILWELL SPORTS represents an impressive list of leading brand fishing and hunting product manufacturers from around the world.
Kilwell Sports main headquarters is located in one of the countries most picturesque and popular tourist destinations - Rotorua City. The region boasts world-class trout fishing and is in close proximity to some of the country’s best wild deer and pig hunting territory. The company also has a sales office in Auckland, representation in the lower North Island and a warehouse distribution facility in Christchurch in the South Island.

Back in 1933 the late John L. Wells started selling fishing tackle in New Zealand. Much has happenend along the way since then but there's no escaping the fact that in the year 2008 KILWELL was 75 years old. As we're not sure which day our birthday was we thought we'd celebrate it ALL YEAR - We love to party! |
