Our Freshwater fly rods are divided into 3 catergories - those produced here in New Zealand by Kilwell - Kilwell Rod Craft, those imported from TiCA, and the Kilwell Branded rods - Kilwell Tradition, Kilwell Advantage & Kilwell Xtreme 2.
KILWELL ROD CRAFT rods are designed, manufactured and assembled in our Rotorua factory by our team of skilled and experienced rod crafters. Rods are built with the finest componentry and pride in manufacturing a rod that can last its owner for a lifetime.
KILWELL BRANDED RODS (Advantage, Tradition, Xtreme II) - At Kilwell we appreciate that while not everyone is a "full-on fisho" the need for reliable good quality tackle is just as important to the occasional angler as it is to those who are out there doing it at every opportunity. Over the years our buyers have spent considerable time in Asia where they have identified the very best rod making factories that can produce fishing rods worthy of carrying the KILWELL branding. The result is a series of price pointed rods made to our stringent specifications and ideally suited to New Zealand conditions.
