Kilwell distribute a large range of Ugly Fish Eyewear models, with 20 different styles to choose from and 2 or 3 different lens options. The SMOKE lenses filter more light and are good for Saltwater and the BROWN lenses tend to be favoured by Freshwater anglers. There is also a mirror lens choice available on some models. All Ugly Fish glasses have a 1.1 mm Polarized film lens and an eight base polycarbonate compound frame.
The higher priced glasses have a few extra features - 'tri-acetate' lenses which are high impact resistant, a TR-90 frame which is also a high impact resistant material that is flexible and light weight and anti-reflective (AR) coating on the inside of the lens to eliminate stray light reflecting back into the retina and affecting vision.
All glasses come with a soft draw string pouch and hard case. Some models have a foam seal to prevent wind from affecting vision which is helpful if you are speeding in your boat to reach a workup without your eyes watering. These glasses have detachable arms that can be reaplced with a strap for a goggle-type function.
