Scientific Anglers - Bring your own rod day

Scientific Anglers Bring your own rod day - September 2017Take the guesswork out of choosing your next fly line. Come and join us for the Scientific Anglers Bring your own rod day.

We will have Jeff Pierce (Foreign Sales Manager for Scientific Anglers) who is based in the USA plus a number of Kilwell folk on hand to answer your questions and provide some excellent technical information.

This is a first for New Zealand. Up until now, none of us has had the opportunity to test a variety of line types and tapers on our own rods!

Nowadays there are so many different rod actions, it’s important that anglers get to cast and feel a line on the very rod they would be fishing it.  What better way to determine the very best line for your set up then cast it on your own rod.

This event also allows you to learn about all the various tapers and technologies so you can be sure you are fishing the best line for your situation. This is a unique opportunity to try out all the latest and greatest from Scientific Anglers, it's your chance to "test cast" all their new lines. We will have over 80 fly reels, spooled up with over 35 different tapers & weights for you to cast. We will also have a few Kilwell rods on hand for you to try out if you haven't found the right rod yet.

We will have fantastic deals and offers on a wide range of Scientific Anglers products on the day, plus much more - so don't miss it!
